Browser Check
Before logging in, it is highly recommended that you perform a browser check to see if your computer is properly configured to use Blackboard. Check Browser Now
Pop-up Blockers
Blackboard CE sometimes uses small browser windows to deliver requested content. Some pop-up blockers incorrectly interpret these small windows as pop-ups and block them. If you have installed a pop-up blocker, turn it off while using Blackboard.
Java Security Certificate
After logging in to Blackboard CE, you will be prompted to accept a Java Security Certificate. You must click Yes or Always to ensure that Blackboard functionality using Java will work properly in your browser.
Java Updates are Recommended
It is recommended that you have the latest version of Java Run-time on your computer. If you are using your own personal computer, or have administrative rights, you can download the latest version from Sun's website.
If you are using a campus owned computer and do not have administrative rights, please contact our IT Center. You can submit an incident to request the latest version be installed on your computer. |
